Shambhala Meditation
Shambhala is a meditation space comprising a temple with a monolithic stone floor and a cedar roof, a Zen Garden, a large limestone sinkhole, and a dead white tree. It is an incredibly peaceful place. Birds nest in the building. And it is guarded by two temple cats who leap in through the open windows within minutes.
Firepit
Hacienda
This would be a residential complex above the barn.
Stables
A cottage converted from kennels, a garage and stables.
Writers Cabin
Tower
Here are the plans Keith Loiseau had drawn up for me. Serious stuff! Four stories with a top floor open to the wind
Outhouse
A delightfully cedar scented annex to the Writers Cabin.
Pagoda Tea House
The Pagoda Tea House occupies an old house site where there is now only a fallen-down chimney and fireplace. It is an open structure made of cedar uprights and bamboo.
Construction by Maartje Grond and Daniel Maissan in October of 2016.
